RIHANNA AND CIARA SPICY TWEETS

Rihanna has responded with force in her tweeter account against Ciara. I was reported that Ciara made some bad comments against Rihanna when Ciara was guest at E!. Ciara accussed Rihanna as not so niced person. After hearing what Ciara said, Rihanna went scorching hot on her tweets. Its a tweet wars between Rihanna and Ciara. We better watch the coming tweet fights of the two.

Shopping Bag - Covergirl Lip Perfection Lipsticks, Sake, and Wine Haul

I adore Covergirl's new Lip Perfection Lipstick collection. Their pinks are to die for! I like the casing too, and they are quite moisturizing for a traditional lipstick.
They promise to give you "more beautiful lips" in just 7 days =)

Of course I got the brightest pinks of the collection. Below, 400 "Temptress", and 385 "Feline". I love the names they gave the lipsticks. Wouldn't that be the funnest job? I want to be a professional lipstick namer. I could just sit around dreaming up new and fantastic names for pretty pink lipsticks all day .. I've been on the hunt for "Sweetheart", the prettiest pink imo, since the collection came out, but it's always sold out b'time I'm in front of them.

^Left:Feline, Right: Temptress^

Feline On Lips:
It has quite a bit of sheen, and goes on almost like a gloss, but with a lot of pigment.

Temptress of Lips:
This is a lot brighter in real life, and as you'll see, it's a lot more opaque than feline. The pigment is incredible.

Over all I'm really satisfied with these lipsticks. The color lasts a long time on the lips.
Repurchase? Definitely!
I give them 5/5.

Wine Haul:

Me and Ryan recieved a lovely gift card to the "Wine Cellar", a very impressive downtown underground wine boutique, just like a vintage wine cellar. Saturday we spent a good amount of time browsing the aisles, country by country and selecting all new wines we had never tried. We got a shiraz, merlot, pinot noir, chenin blanc, and champagne from various regions of the world including South Africa, Italy, France, Australia, and USA.

I also couldn't resist this little bottle of Sake. I think warm Sake is such a nice treat on a cold winter night:

But now I want a sake set!

Here are my faves:

Sitting inside on a rainy evening by a fireplace, with some delicious sushi and hot sake served with a beautiful set - perfect.

There is also this HK sake set:

Charming, but I'm not sure how I feel about drinking strong alcohol from such a childishly themed sake set. Just a little ... off putting?

I also decided to wrap up my 30 day blog challenge in this post.

Blog Challenge Conclusion: Day 26-30.

26:What kind of person attracts me:
I don't think I necesarily have a specifiic "type". It's just a feeling I get when I am attracted to someone right off  the bat. How they make me feel in their prescence; if they make me feel sexy, confident, special, or unique, but genuinely and without trying to make me feel this way. Its all natural; something I can't quite put my finger on but know is there.

27:A problem I have had:
I've had issues with self confidence that has manifested itself differently in the past.

28:Something that I miss.
Summer! Nice weather, beaches, sunshine. Songs or the smell of perfume from last summer will make me miss it even more. I can't wait to drop the fricking top. (Of my car that is!)  It feels like it has been winter FOREVER right now.

29:Goals for the next 30 days:
Pass all my courses! Keep wedding planning on track. Begin toning up for the wedding.

30: Highs and Lows of this month:
Highs: Laughing lots
Lows: Weather

I hope you had a marvelous weekend =)
Have you tired these new CG lipsticks?

Kajol Devgan

Kajol Devgan, née Mukherjee, popularly known as Kajol, is an Indian film actress appearing in Hindi films. She is regarded as one of India's most successful and talented female actors. Kajol made her acting debut in the film Bekhudi (1992) and had her first commercial success with her second film Baazigar (1993) opposite Shahrukh Khan, with whom she would act in such popular movies as Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge (1995), Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998), Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and My Name is Khan (2010). Her performances in all four of these films were praised and earned her Filmfare Awards for Best Actress. After shooting for Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham in 2001, she took a sabbatical from full-time acting for five years. She made a comeback with Kunal Kohli's Fanaa (2006), for which she received another Best Actress Award at the Filmfare. Along with her late aunt Nutan, Kajol holds the record for most Best Actress wins at the Filmfare Awards, with five. In 2011, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri for her contribution to Indian Cinema. She is married to fellow Indian actor Ajay Devgn.

Kajol left her school St. Josephs convent at Panchgani and started her career at the age of seventeen. Her debut film was 1992's Bekhudi, which was a box office failure. In 1993, she shot to fame with her second film, Abbas-Mustan's thriller Baazigar. The film saw her co-starring alongside Shahrukh Khan, with whom she later went on to make a popular pairing in a number of films, all of which were box office successes. Kajol had only one release in 1996, Bambai Ka Babu, opposite Saif Ali Khan, which was a box office failure. In 1997, Kajol starred in Gupt: The Hidden Truth. Co-starring actors Bobby Deol and Manisha Koirala, the film was one of the highest grossing films of that year. Apart from that, her performance was a significant development for female actors in Bollywood; she was the first female actor to win the Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. Her next film release that year was Hameshaa. Like Karan Arjun, the film dealt with reincarnation, but unlike the latter, it failed at the box office. She next starred in her first Tamil film, Minsaara Kanavu. The film won Kajol her only Best Actress award at the Southern Filmfare Awards ceremony. Her final release of that year was the romantic-comedy Ishq, where she was paired with her then-future husband Ajay Devgan. It performed well at the box office. Kajol had further success in 1998, as she was the main lead starred in three of the year's biggest hits. She first starred opposite Salman Khan in the comedy Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. The film was the fourth highest grossing film of the year. Her next release, Dushman alongside Sanjay Dutt, did moderately well at the box office. She had a double role in the film, and won her first Star Screen Award for Best Actress for her performance. She next starred opposite Ajay Devgan in the romance Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha, which was the second biggest hit of that year. However, her biggest success that year came with her final release, Karan Johar's directorial debut, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which paired her again with Shahrukh Khan and went on to become the biggest hit of the year in both India and overseas. She played the role of Anjali, a young college student who is secretly in love with her closest friend, and many years after breaking contact meets him again after the death of his wife. She won her second Filmfare Best Actress Award for her performance.Kajol's first release in 1999 was the drama film Dil Kya Kare. She played the supporting role of Nandita Rai, which was well received. She had a hit with her second release, the family drama Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain. Starring alongside Anil Kapoor, Kajol received another Best Actress nomination at the Filmfare.

She appeared on Karan Johar's talk show Koffee with Karan with Shahrukh Khan on the first episode. She also appeared on the last episode of the Season 1 together with Shahrukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Outfit - Tight and Bright Girls Night!

Hallo, Dolls!
How are you?
Friday was our February Girls Night, and the theme was "Tight and Bright"! We all dressed up in our craziest tight and bright outfits and hit the town for dinner, bowling, and clubbing after =)
Here the outfit I wore. I didn't own anything "tight and bright" so wanted to get something I'd at least wear again. So I hit up one of my favorite stores American Aparrel and fell in love with this dress:

Dress and Socks - American Apparel. Shoes - Guess

Here we are bowling. So much fun going out like this! You should've seen the looks we were getting, I think people thought we were crazy, but when you're with a big group, you really don't care!

Afterwords we hit up the club. I haven't been to a nightclub in AGES, so it was hilarious going and seeing how people are there. "You look like a mermaid .... I didn't know a mermaid could use an ATM", was definitely my favorite line of the night.

Hope you had a good weekend!

Avril Lavigne - What The Hell

Avril Ramona Lavigne (born 27 September 1984) is a Canadian singer-songwriter, fashion designer, actress, and philanthropist. She was born in Belleville, Ontario, but spent the majority of her youth in the small town of Napanee. By the age of 15, she had appeared on stage with Shania Twain; by 16, she had signed a two-album recording contract with Arista (now RCA Records) worth more than $2 million. When she was 17 years old, Lavigne broke onto the music scene with her debut album, Let Go, released in 2002.Themes in Lavigne's music include messages of self-empowerment from a female or adolescent point of view. Lavigne believes her "songs are about being yourself no matter what and going after your dreams even if your dreams are crazy and even if people tell you they're never going to come true." On her debut album, Let Go, Lavigne preferred the less mainstream songs, such as "Losing Grip", instead of her more radio-friendly singles, such as "Complicated", saying that "the songs I did with the Matrix... were good for my first record, but I don't want to be that pop anymore." Lavigne's second album, Under My Skin, had more personal themes underlying each song. Lavigne explained, "I've gone through so much, so that's what I talk about.... Like boys, like dating or relationships". In contrast, her third album, The Best Damn Thing, was not very personal to her. "Some of the songs I wrote didn't even mean that much to me. It's not like some personal thing I'm going through." Her objective in writing the album was simply to "make it fun". Goodbye Lullaby, Lavigne's fourth album, is expected to be much more personal than her earlier records, with Lavigne describing the album as "more stripped down, deeper. All the songs are very emotional".[hen Lavigne first gained publicity, she was known for her tomboyish style, in particular her necktie and tank-top combinations. She preferred baggy clothes, skater shoes or Converses, wristbands, and sometimes shoelaces wrapped around her fingers. During photo shoots, instead of wearing "glittery get-ups", she preferred wearing "old, crumpled T's". In response to her fashion and musical influences, the media would call her the "pop punk princess". Press and fans regarded her as the "anti-Britney", in part because of her less-commercial and "real" image, but also because she was noticeably headstrong. "I’m not made up and I’m not being told what to say and how to act, so they have to call me the anti-Britney, which I’m not." By November 2002, however, Lavigne stopped wearing ties, claiming she felt she was "wearing a costume". Lavigne made a conscious effort to keep her music, and not her image, at the forefront of her career. "I'm just saying, I don't want to sell sex. I feel that's sort of lame and low. I've got so much more to say."

"What the Hell" is a song by Canadian recording artist Avril Lavigne. The song was written by Lavigne with Max Martin and Shellback, and produced by Martin for Lavigne's upcoming fourth studio album, Goodbye Lullaby (2011). "What the Hell" was released on 10 January 2011 as the lead single from Goodbye Lullaby. The song received generally positive reviews from music critics, with many complimenting its catchiness and comparing it to her previous single "Girlfriend" (2007). "What the Hell" is a moderately fast pop punk, pop rock, and pop song, produced by Max Martin. The song is at 144 beats per minute, performed in the key of A major. Lavigne's vocal range spans from F♯3 to E5. "What the Hell" opens with a "retro keyboard riff" and hand-claps. The inclusion of the keyboard has drawn comparisons to the garage rock genre and the band The Hives. The song features guitars during the chorus. Although Lavigne simply described the song as "a broad message about personal freedom", critics have interpreted the song in a number of different ways; Gil Kaufman of MTV.com suggests that the song is a "declaration of independence from a former teen star who is storming back onto the scene". Kaufman suggests Lavigne's public divorce from Sum 41 singer Deryck Whibley and friction between her and her record company are also possible themes within the song. Jody Rosen of Rolling Stone magazine calls "What the Hell", "an anthem about a good girl who goes on a crazy-bender, staying out late, swapping boys and exacting psychological revenge." Bill Lamb of About.com also suggests that the song is about Lavigne and Whibley's divorce, but goes on to say "the song leaves significant room for interpretation which does add to its intrigue." Heather McDaid of Stereoboard.com was critical of the song's theme being about Whibley, stating "with such an upbeat song it’s hard to envisage divorce as the underlying subject matter as you listen." Holly Thomas of Frost Magazine suggested that the lyrics are about being "starved of affection from the one she truly loves." Lavigne describes the song as "more reminiscent of some of my old pop rock stuff" and calls it her "most pop track on the record" and the least personal song from the album. The video begins with Lavigne in lingerie lying in bed with her love interest, played by Spencer Hill. She walks over to a mirror, and applies her two fragrances, Black Star and Forbidden Rose. Lavigne locks her love interest in a walk-in closet, and leaves the house. She walks down the road, and steals a taxi. As Lavigne's lover chases her on a bike, she gets out of the taxi, which crashes into another vehicle. As Lavigne plays in a basketball court at the Sixth Street Viaduct, her love interest is still chasing her. She runs into an Abbey Dawn store, which leads to a venue. Lavigne's mother, Judy, makes a cameo appearance in the video as a store clerk. Lavigne climbs on stage and begins performing with her band. She stage dives, and the video ends with Lavigne and her love interest again lying in bed. The video made its television debut on 23 January 2011, on ABC Family and on UK music channel 4Music. The New York Post criticized the video with its product placement for Sony and Abbey Dawn.
